Website expired

  I created this personal account to get support because I can’t login to my business website as it is expired. Does anyone know how to help wit this?

  Hi there,

  What is the address of your website? WordPress.com sites belong to accounts, and you don’t lose access to the account if an upgrade on a site in that account expires, so I think you might have had a self-hosted WordPress site instead. If that’s the case, you’ll need to contact your hosting provider for help getting the site back online, but if you can give the link to your site I can check for you.

  That domain is not connected to any WordPress.com site or account. It appears to currently be pointed at above.com, but it was only registered there on 10 May, so I’m guessing someone else has bought that domain after it expired for you.

  Before that your domain was pointed at iPage.com, so they were your hosting provider. You’ll need to contact iPage support to find out if they still have any backups for your site, but your domain itself is lost unless you want to try and buy it back from the current owner.
