  Hello I already have a website made. I just have the files for it. I was wondering how I could add it onto a wordpress. How do you do it? And do I need a paid subscription? Thanks

  Have you created your site locally on your computer and you’re looking to upload it here? Also, have you used WordPress, another CMS, or HTML to build it?

  Hi I actually bought a website off eBay. The person sent me a link and when i typed in the link it allowed me to download the files for the website. I have not idea how to open the files and where to put them to a website. So if you have any info could you please help? Thanks

  Hi there,

  You will need to find a hosting provider or set up your own server, and then upload the files there and connect it to a domain, in order for the site to be online. We cannot help with that, as making a site in that way is not possible with WordPress.com.

  It also sounds like this might be a custom-built site, in which case it won’t be using WordPress at all. So I’d recommend you try a host like Amazon Web Services, where you won’t be tied only to a specific CMS.

  Whichever host you choose, you’ll have to contact support at that host for the best process to get the files uploaded to them.
