Dear support,
I am the webmaster of http://www.contrariansmind.com and I recently changed the Name Servers from the main domain to point at WordPress.com. While the Name Servers are resolved I would like to ask a few questions:
#1 – I would like to know whether there is a way to add more followers to the subscribers list. On the front end I see that there are over 150,000 followers which receive post notifications each time there is a new content.
#2 – Is there a way I could modify the HTML code of the current theme as there is no right sidebar. I would like to create a sidebar on the right in order to show twitter feeds, facebook like and additional widgets.

#1: I’m not 100% sure what you are asking here. Are you asking if there is a way to purchase or be given more followers? Or are you asking if there is a way to manually add in followers from an external email list? In both cases the answer is no. You can invite people to view/follow your blog using these instructions:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/#invite-people-to-follow-your-blog
But that only gives them the option to follow, it does not require them to.
If you are asking something else entirely, please let me know.

It is not possible to modify php files on WordPress.com. If you require that ability, you would be better off with a self-hosted WordPress.org site.

The “Chunk” theme you are using does not have sidebars. So you could also explore themes a little and see if there was a sidebar enabled theme that would work for you.
