Im just trying to make a simple webpage to post a webcomic series. Home page showing the most recent page, navigation to next or previous page, and an archive.
I found a theme online that is what im looking for but it says i have to upgrade to a business plan to install…I cant really afford that. -
Hi there, Every WPcom theme’s blog post has a next and previous button displayed at the bottom of the post as well as automatically generated archives.
Most of the newer block editor style themes use a static front page rather than the blog, but you can change this setting in the Customizer. If you click through to a theme’s demo site’s blog page, you can see how each theme looks. Here’s Maywood as an example. https://maywooddemo.wordpress.com/news/
You can also change site settings to only show a single post on the blog front page, but that will also affect the archives as well.
