Website home paged not displayed and How do I sign up for paid service
-
First, I tried to sign up for the ‘Personal’ paid feature. I forced me to go through process of setting up a web site. I have one. I am having problems with it, I need help.
The problem I am having with my website is that it is not displaying on the internet what is in the ‘pages . Even when I am on ‘Pages’ and click of preview of the page, it gives me a very old representation of the page. The other pages on the site are correct, only the home page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We can’t help you with your site http://www.atlantathejourneycontinues.org/as these forums are for site running on the wordpress.com platform and your site uses the open source wordpress.org. Their support is at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.
If you want to sign up here for a Personal Plan, you must first make a free website. Onece you have a website on the Free Plan, you are able to upgrade to the Personal or any other plan. -
The site I need help with is peachstatesapfm.info, not the atlantathejourneycontinues.org

Oh. Thanks for the clarification on .com vs .org
And on the sign up process:
If I do sign up and create a free site, will I then get help with the open source .org site?

No :)
We’re only able to help with sites hosted on WordPress.com in this forum, and to a very limited degree with issues specifically related to the Jetpack plugin that you use to connect your site here.
But we don’t have any control over your hosting setup, and the WordPress software you’re using don’t work exactly the same as the version we use here on WordPress.com, so we’re not able to provide general support for sites that aren’s hosted on our servers, and our plans cannot be bought for sites like that either.
You can buy a Jetpack personal plan for any site you have connected here via that plugin, but the features of that plan is different from the WordPress.com plan with the same name, and the support included there is only for the Jetpack plugin, not WordPress itself.
The only official support for the WordPress software is the forums that @staartmees linked to above.
All that said…

When you say “Pages”, are you speaking of WordPress.com ->My Sites ->Site ->Pages? And if the answer to that is yes, where exactly are you clicking and what do you see? Is this when you’re looking at the page in the editor, or the page preview in My Sites?
-
From the Dashboard I can go to “Pages”, which allows for adding and editing each page.
When I am editing the “Home” page, it shows exactly what I want. On the summary view of all pages there is an edit, trash or view for each page. If I click on view it shows the view seen at peachstatesapfm.info
If you click on “about us” you can see the banner and other features that are part of our them. But the Home page if from when I was using something entirely different.
It is almost like something has been caught up in the cache or corrupted the directory.
I have un-published the home page and re-published with same results.
I appreciate you help and understand this is not your responsibility.
I have another web site with this same theme and no problems. I would migrate to your products but do not want to “mix and match” across sites.
Thanks for any help
Ken
