Has anyone managed to set their website up in a way that it can be accessed in 2 languages, and if so, what did you use and how well is it working?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there

On a paid plan, you can install third-party plugins — and this is usually the smoothest path for a bilingual site. Polylang is one of the most popular options. It lets you create translated versions of each post and page, and adds a language switcher so visitors can toggle between languages. It’s free, SEO-friendly, and keeps everything organized under one site. You can browse other multilingual plugins here as well.

Is it ease enough to implement? And of all the multilingual plugins, is Polylang regarded as the best?

    Hi there

Yes, Polylang is relatively easy to set up, but whether it is the “best” depends on how you want to manage your translations. It is very lightweight and budget-friendly. You manually create a duplicate of your page/post for the second language and type (or paste) the translation yourself.

Is it the best? It is widely considered the best free option if you already have your translated text ready to go.

OK. Thanks for the input you two. I already have my pages in both languages—english and french—so I’ll have a look at Polylang and experiment with it.
