I have created a web for my company using wordpress, but some clients have a restriction when they try to access. The website is classed as a social networking site. Is there anyway to change this? or would I need to move the website from wordpress to another hosting? The website is http://www.promoteinliverpool.com
    Cheers

Are you viewing the site from a business or residential location? If you are at a business location, do you have any firewall or filtering software such as SonicWall which could be blocking some of files needed to load the site properly from your location? > The website have been tested with IE8,IE7, Firefox, Google Chrome.

Otherwise please contact your system/network administrator to adjust the filtering/firewall software.

I can access properly to my website. The problem is that some clients can’t access because they are viewing the website from their business company computer. Their software filters classed the website as a social network.
Does it happen because the website is hosted in wordpress? I don’t know if I have to change the DNS of my domain to another one outside wordpress to avoid the “social network” filter.

  • We have no control over how businesses choose to classify WordPress.com. Like with Facebook, Twitter, etc, they probably don’t want their employees blogging while they’re on the clock.

They’ll need to raise the issue with their network administrator.
