website keeps disappearing

Twice in the past two weeks my website has reverted back to it’s original theme without me making any changes to it. I log on and it literally looks like it did on day one before I ever started creating it. The first time it happened I redid EVERYTHING, made a few minor adjustments, saved my progress, then published it. It was fine for a few days, then boom!… Today it reverts back to the uncustomized theme AGAIN. Never ever had this happen with GoDaddy.

As you say your site is hosted by Godaddy, we can’t help you. These forums are for sites running on the wordpress.com platform but your site uses the open source wordpress.org.
Contact Godaddy support to hear what’s going on. -
No, I DON’T use GoDaddy, I did in the past. I was saying this happened now since I switched to Bluehost and WordPress. In previous years WHEN I had GoDaddy this problem never happened once, much less twice.

As your site is hosted on Bluehost we can’t help you. So the same advice: contact Bluehost to know what’s going on.

Maybe someone else has had this problem besides smaartmees? He obviously doesn’t understand that Bluehost uses WordPress. I wouldn’t be here otherwise.

Of course I know Bluehost uses WordPress. But these forums are for sites running on the wordpress.com platform. Sites at Bluehost uses the open source wordpress.org which is in non way related to wordpress.org, https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.

Got it… thank you. Funny thing is it took me here from Bluehost on a “forum support” link.
