Website Live Issues

I need some Guidance regarding my Live website. I installed a Coming Soon Plug-in as a placeholder while I learn how to create the site. When I turn off the Coming Soon Page and publish the website Live, for a couple days the site looks as it does in the dashboard. But something changes after a couple days and some of my pictures are no longer visible( The header/feature picture on my static page disappears), the page formatting gets all shuffled and out of place, and the font colors and style change, boxes that I have created with the elementor disappear. When I look in the dashboard it looks completely different from what is showing up Live? This is all new to me, and I honestly do not know where to begin to make things right. Please please please Advise as to what features I need to be aware of to get this live and working properly, I’m pulling my hair out over here and YouTube University at this point is confusing me. HELP PLEASE!

What is the address of your site? Is it hosted here at WordPress.com? I don’t think you’re posting into the correct support forum. If your unnamed site is using the WordPress.org software then you should be registering an account at:

Thank you for your response. Honestly I don’t what the difference is between WordPress.org or .com. Which is better?
I bought my domain through godaddy- hosting through HostGator then started building the site from the dashboard that was referenced on my hosting platform. My site has always had the purchased domain and not WordPress in it.

Wordpress updated itself on my website and now I’ve lost everything for the past four months. Photos, emails, links, articles, everything! Bluehost restored the site to three days ago backup and the website reverted back to four months ago again! What is happening. I’ve lost hundreds of hours of work. Please help.
