  I built a website and have it hosted through Whois.com Website Builder. I need an SSL certificate but because their website builder and hosting is managed by a 3rd party I am not able to produce the SSL. I don’t want to rebuild my website if i don’t have to so my question is can I map my site through WordPress and have it hosted through WordPress in order to get the SSL?

  Yes, that should work. What is the domain?

  You will need to add a plan to your account before being able to connect the domain through mapping. Those are at https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Once the plan has been added, go to My Sites – Domains – Add – Map it! and connect the domain.
