Website not widened bonus question
-
Hello.
I cannot get my website to widen. There are white bars around the content. Any idea what’s causing this? I’m running the pique theme right now for testing purposes..
Also:
I’m looking to have an ‘order form’ on my one-page website where clients can put in information such as address, name, amount of what they’re buying, etc. (not CC info). The information should then be sent to an e-mail. Is there a nice and clean way to do this that works great with the whole ‘one-page’ setup? Or should I switch to another theme entirely?Appreciate any answers, I’m a complete rookie :)

Hi,

I don’t find such bars on the site https://gymtechgroup.wordpress.com/. Are you referring to a different site?

That’s the site I’m talking about. It has white bars on both sides though and I want the images I put in to stretch across the entire screen.
I’ve attached an image to show you what I mean:

Sorry, I’d missed the white background before. I had to zoom out to see it on my PC. The Pique demo has the same white borders. You might be able to change that effect by changing the color of the background.
I don’t know if it’s possible to “stretch” the images so that the entire screen will be filled regardless of the screen size or zoom settings. You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar to call for staff attention if you’d like to ask staff about that possibility.

The only option that I’m aware of that fits this description would be the Contact Form. See the Contact Form support page for information and instructions.

Alright, I appreciate the effort musicdoc1. We’ve decided to buy the WordPress Business-plan and a theme called brooklyn. Hopefully that will fit our needs better.
