  I am so confused. I thought my purchase was to create a website not a blog. What did I do wrong and can I get my money back and transfer the vmtechnical.com site to host elsewhere?

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

  You can certainly set up your website to show a normal homepage (the static front page) or a list of posts in a blog. Either way the current site and hosting you have will work, there is no need to transfer the site.

  The blog is part of a website and can be displayed on the front page (homepage) of the site. However, it sounds like you would prefer to have a static front page with no blog posts.
