    Can I recover a preexisting website that I built on WordPress?

    Correct account: Yes

    If the site was hosted here on WordPress.com, it’s only possible to recover 30 days after its deletion. If it was hosted elsewhere, you can contact your hosting provider and ask them for a backup.

    Alternatively, you can search http://web.archive.org/ for an archived version of it and download the contents directly from there.

    If you let me know the site’s address, I’ll be able to determine where it was hosted and let you know how to proceed.
