  I spent $96 on a WordPress website and was refunded only $78. I already had a domain name so what happened?

  Hi –

  The domain, beverlykedzior.com, was transferred to WordPress.com. We are your domain registrar now. Do you want to keep using beverlykedzior.com again in the future or with another service? If so, we can’t let it get cancelled. That’s where the $18 difference comes in to play. That’s the annual price for the domain registration through us.

  Let me know if you have plans to use the domain again or if you want me to cancel it and then process the additional $18 refund. Just remember it’s very likely you will never be able to regain ownership of that domain as someone else, or even a domain squatter will pick it up.
