  Hi wordpress team..

  i tried to create a different account/free website by clicking “create website” button on your homepage.. the browser did not went through step 2 but instead kept loading so i refreshed the browser. when i try to create the free website.. it shows website reserved… really need to retrieve the website for my wife to have her own wordpress account.. thanks

  Hi there,

  The address whitelyss.wordpress.com is reserved for the WordPress.com user who owns the username whitelyss. Unless you already own the account with that username, you’ll need to choose a different, unique address for your site.

  Hi,

  Thanks for the response.. I was creating it.. the error that i’m looking at is a possibility that the website (whitelys) was being reserved during the time im creaing it , however, did not complete the process to which i just tried to refresh my browser.. not sure how it can still be retrieved.. :(

  Hi there,

  If you think you own the username whitelyss, you can follow the steps in our Account Recovery to regain access to that username and create that site. If you don’t own that username, however, you won’t be able to use that site address.
