  I gave a company my username and password to help me fix and update my website. I told them I would set them up as an administrator and they said no everyone just gives us their username and password so that it doesn’t waste time and they have the access they need. I gave it to them a few weeks ago and I just thought about it now and just changed my password. While they have been sending me website updates it is through a PDF. Is this a scam? If not why not let me set them up as a different user?

  Sorry to hear about that experience! That doesn’t sound ideal. Can you tell us the address of your site?

  The address you shared seems like an empty site. We’d need to know the site address so that we know where it’s located and point you in the right direction.
