Website suddenly unreachable and dashboard/pages not loading
-
Hello, my WordPress.com site suddenly stopped working while I was editing it. The site now says “This site can’t be reached,” and even the Pages section/dashboard are not loading properly. I already tried switching themes, but the issue remains. My site still appears in my account dashboard but only shows a blank preview. Could you please check if the site is corrupted or if there is a server-side issue and help restore access?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s a local glitch on your side because your site is up and running – https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/judybencbarcoma.wordpress.com?proto=https

Thank you. I already tried clearing browser cache, flushing DNS, restarting devices/router, using incognito mode, different browsers, and different networks/mobile data. However, the issue still persists specifically with the dashboard/editor and pages not loading properly on my side after extended editing. Could this be related to a corrupted editor session or account-side issue?

Thank you for the clarification. I’ve already tried different browsers, networks, mobile data, clearing cache, and flushing DNS, but the issue still persists on my side, particularly with the dashboard/editor not loading properly. If this is possibly a local or regional routing glitch, may I ask how long these issues usually take to resolve?

I’m having the same problem… my site is still available, but everything on my Dashboard, except ‘My Home’, is not loading. Stats, Pages, Widgets, Media, as well as everything else in the sidebar, keeps coming up as ‘This site can’t be reached’. I’ve tried Firefox, Edge, and Chrome.
Also, I cannot access your judybencbarcoma.wordpress.com blog at all. It just times out in Chrome. The really bad news, I guess, is that WordPress seems to be having major problems this morning:

All three of my WordPress sites have been down for the last two hours. The AI assistant said to check here.

Hi Judy,
Thank you for all the troubleshooting you did — clearing cache, flushing DNS, trying different browsers, networks, and mobile data. That was thorough, and you were right that this isn’t something on your end.
We’re aware of a connectivity issue that’s currently affecting access to several WordPress.com sites and dashboards across multiple regions. Our team is actively working on resolving it.
Your site is safe — it hasn’t been corrupted or lost. Once the issue is resolved, everything should return to normal without any action needed from you.
For others in this thread experiencing the same thing — johnnytesting and flusteredduck — this applies to you as well. Your sites are safe, and we’re working on a fix.
We appreciate your patience, and sorry for the disruption!

Hi @flusteredduck, @johnnytesting, @judybenclimacobarcoma,
I wanted to let you know that the connectivity issues should now be resolved.
Please let us know if you still see any issues, and we’d be happy to look into this further.
