  Email subscriptions are built into WordPress.com, no paid plan required. Subscribers can choose to receive your new posts immediately, in a daily digest, or a weekly digest.

  With a paid Business or eCommerce plan, you can add plugins for more options, like https://www.mailpoet.com/
