Website Themes?

Hi there,
Have not been in the web or word press world in a few years. Last time I was here, I could have sworn all the themes were for websites. Now all I see are blog themes.
Confused! Do you guys have themes and templates for websites?
I am looking to create a site that can host videos as the most important feature and of course tabs. I’d like to pay a developer to make it “member-based” where people have to make a purchase in order to access a wider video library of information (my yoga programs).

Please note that at WordPress.com the word blog and website are used interchangeably. Essentially, they are one in the same.
All the “blog” themes can be used as websites. In order to create a menu (tabs), you can create a Custom Menu. Please view the guide for specific instructions.
As for making it “member-based” and charging for access, that may be more difficult. What you can do is password-protect certain pages, and have them contact you for access. You can add a Paypal button to your site if you wish. Once you receive payment you can then provide them the password. However, there wouldn’t be a way to automate this on WordPress.com.
The ability to pay for access seems like the core of your site, so I would recommend moving to self-hosted, WordPress.org.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. At WordPress.com, we provide hosting, support, and tons of features for blogs. Users also have the option to purchase a variety of upgrades to customize the look and feel of their blog. WordPress.org is a software for self-hosted sites. With WordPress.org, users are provided access to all backend files and can upload custom themes and plugins.
