  I am trying to convert an HTML site to wordpress, and I’m not sure how to set it up. Any help would be appreciated.

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there,

  We do not have a specific guide for converting a hand-coded HTML site to WordPress, so I’m not sure how to handle this question.

  Perhaps it will help if you can share the URL to your existing site (the one you want to convert) so I can see what you have now? Generally speaking if the site is in pure HTML and not on another website platform (Wix, Squarespace, Tumblr, Blogger, etc) the only way to convert that is to manually copy/paste your text and images into a new WordPress template.
