Website Type

I am using WordPress, free version, to host my website. I use to be able to just log in add things very easily to my site. Just click and add.
Now there is coding and I don’t know how to code I just know how to log in and add things.
Is there some reason mine changed?
How can I get it back?I’m not very tech savy.

It sounds like you may have switched to the Code Editor, you can switch back to the Visual Editor via the Document Settings, as detailed at https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/#document-settings

When I go in and look to see if I’m in code or visual it states that I am in Visual editor which is very weird to me.

Would you please use https://snipboard.io/ to share a screenshot here of what you’re seeing?

That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
With that said though, it looks like a special block, like a take on the Classic Block, but with more features. If it’s just a block, you can add any other block before or after it and choose the block type, like a Paragraph Block: https://wordpress.org/support/article/paragraph-block/

Thank you so much for all your help! I will look into the blocks and will also reach out to their support as well. I had someone help me build the site and didn’t even realize the difference in .org and .com. Thanks again!

I have a quick question…my log-in is through this link:

I can’t get log in through wordpress.org with my log-in credentials

Your site’s login is unique and specific to your site only, and cannot be used anywhere else.
Your site doesn’t have any connection to the WordPress.org website. It’s just using the software made and supported by the community on WordPress.org. So to post in those forums you’ll need to register a separate username account on WordPress.org itself.
