Webspace Disabled Unable to import images with migration.
-
I am in the process of switching domain hosts for my website. We cannot import the images as the current server has webspace disabled (meaning the apache server cannot read and load the file). As the current site itself cannot load the images, they cannot import them.
Being that my website is hosted with WordPress.com. I’m running into some issues with the migration.
I’m being told that the webspace on the WP server for my account is disabled. Due to this, the images do not load and are not accessible.
I am told I will need to contact wordpress.com to check this issue on the current live site (which is still hosted on wordpress.com). Once the issue is resolved, they can migrate the images.HOW CAN I FIX THIS AND HOW CAN I CONTACT SOMEONE IN WP? I am lost and confused in this process. I only see forums as a means of support. Is there another way? Or can someone assist me?
Thank you!

Hi there,
What’s your WordPress.com site’s address so I can have a look?
The only site I can see is downtothegroundliving.com which is hosted elsewhere and it’s only connected to your WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin.

Thank you for your response!
Here is a link to the site that has been given to me that they have been able to migrate for me so far onto my new servers: http://downtothegroundliving.com.dream.website/
Much appreciated.

Hi @starbyers1, thanks for that. Here are the sites I see; hopefully we can help you get this untangled.
First, note that Dreamhost, Wealthy Affiliate, and WordPress.com are all hosting providers. All three of us provide hosting for installations of the free WordPress code.
downtothegroundliving.com is suspended by Wealthy Affiliate
downtothegroundliving.com.dream.website is a new site hosted at Dreamhost
Neither site if hosted here with us, though, so we aren’t able to grant access to images. They are not on our servers.
If the problem is that you can’t access images hosted at Wealthy Affiliate, truly the only way to get at them is by contacting them and asking them to unblock images for you, or give you a file that contains the images so you can upload them. Then Dreamhost can likely help you with the import.
If you have questions about the free WordPress code that your hosts aren’t able to answer, I’d recommend the free community forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Hoping this helps!
