    Hi! I think our website got hacked because every time I try to access it from both WordPress and just the regular website URL it says our website is dangerous? Can you please fix this??

    Hi there,

    The site you mentioned (cslds.wordpress.com) hasn’t been updated for over a decade. So, I assume you’re referring to some other site.

    What’s that site’s address so I can have a look and point you in the right direction of getting support?

    Hi there,

    From what I can see your site is not hosted with us at WordPress.com directly (we are not the only source for WordPress site hosting) but is instead hosted with GoDaddy.

    As a first step I would recommend reaching out to GoDaddy support (since they control your domain) and make sure that your domain is configured correctly if it has SSL that is also configured correctly.

    We’re not able to help directly since we don’t host your site, but I did a bit of research and I also see that Google has some guidance here on what you can do to remove that message, since they are the ones adding it: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/security/social-engineering#fixing-the-problem

    That doesnt make any sense? I edit the site through wordpress? Also the hacker changed the password so how do I change it back?

    Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
