Weird stuff happening

  I’m an author for a news(ish) site and today I noticed a virus jump out at me from another author’s story as my antivirus caught it and displayed where it came from.

  It said it was Medium in seriousness and it came from https://scriptsplatform.com and it only attacks my computer from this article… https://newsbeyonddetroit.net/2023/06/05/senate-led-dems-kill-bidens-student-loan-program/
  Since then there’s been some strange anomalies effecting the blog platform we’re using (disqus) and my profile has decided to follow another commenter without me doing anything to make that happen. Plus my disqus profile says I’m not following anyone but the person being followed has shown screen shots displaying that i am.
  Anyways, the two may be separate issues but we wanna consider everything due to the timing of the two happening within hours of each other.

  It’s hard to belief someone was able to hack a site running on the wordpress.com platform. I rather suspect your computer and/or browser got infected by malware. So start by scanning your computer for malware. We can’t help regarding the discusproblem.
