Weird stuff with Top Nav

  • Unknown's avatar

The admin toolbar disappeared from the Top Nav allowing google adds to appear between the top Nav and where the admin bar would be. I cannot post, customize, edit or go to Dashboard from any page but my Home, Plus the bottom or my About is invaded with the content from the Blog page sidebar. Weird, hein?

  • Hi there,

Can you please let me know your site’s address so I can point you in the right direction of getting support?

Please note that these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums:

    Thank you.
My site is eligreg.com a WordPress site
It is in another language but the About page is still in English because I am in the transition process. Its name starts with the word “Rezo”
    Again thanks.

  • Hi there,

The site http://eligreg.com/ is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software. That site is not connected to our system in any way, so our admin bar won’t show if you view that site in your browser.

If you’re logged into WP-Admin on that site you will see the admin bar for that site, but that’s something completely different from the WordPress.com admin bar.

You should be able to log in by just adding “/wp-admin” to the end of your site address.

Any ads you see on that site will be coming either from a plugin you installed or from malware that somehow got onto your site. We have no access to your site’s WP-Admin and no control over it at all, so we can’t help you investigate which it might be or help you fix it.

Please ask for advice from the self-hosted WordPress forums for more help with this:
