OK guys, I know questions like these get asked a lot but I still don’t feel the answers are clearly defined enough for me to make my own assessment.
Basically I have a domain that doesn’t yet have wordpress uploaded (waiting for a release date) but I’m working on my the site that is 100 percent wordpress by purchasing a theme and completely customizing it.
Do I have to pay for anything from wordpress? I don’t want ads and I hear you have to pay for custom CSS, yet I can customize my theme the way I want and I have yet to pay for that upgrade.
I have yet to make a post beyond just local host stuff. What should I expect to have to pay for? Do I have to pay for the upgrade once I upload my site?

Sorry, it’s not clear that you are in the correct forum. Some people confuse WordPress.ORG and WordPress.COM (which is where we are). These links will explain the difference.
