What does it mean when the referrer site is your own site?

    Underneath the top referrers, it lists the site url and the site name. My own domain is always number 1. I’m not sure what that means. Does it mean that people are typing in the name of my site directly? Or does it mean once people visit my site, they click on a link that takes them to a subdomain within the site. I’m not sure.

    Hi –

    A referrer is how someone came to your site. If you share the posts through other social media networks, you could see how many are coming from Facebook, or Twitter, as an example. Does that make sense?
