What ever happened to… can't find other blogs

  Hi all,

  I’ve had blogs on wordpress before, and back then I remember I could easily find other blogs to read or to follow.

  Where can I find other blogs, which is written in my language Norwegian, on wordpress now? What am I missing?

  Hi there,

  If your account language setting is set to Norwegian, both the Search option in the Reader and the Tags Search option in the Reader should return results from sites that have their site settings set to the same language.

  Also search for topics you are interested in using Google. Chances are a good portion of the results will be WordPress.com sites.

  I have my account language set in english, it is not an option for me to swith to norwegian, lol. I also had english account before and remember I found other norwegian blogs much more easier than I do now. Did WordPress change things up?

  The Reader has gone through some changes the past year :)

  If you type a Norwegian word into the Search box it should return results containing that word. But it might also return results in other languages. For example, I tested this with bøker, and while it did return a couple Norwegian posts, it also returned some German posts, and several English posts using the word “boker”, so it’s not perfect.

  But this is something that is on our list to improve.

  For tag searches, you can only see results that match your account language setting at this time.
