What exactly does my number of views represent?

    As of today, my blog shows 52,252 views. I also have 1,073 subscribers. Please help me to understand: are those 52,252 views UNIQUE views (as in, unique visits to my site), or does that 52,252 number include the posts that my subscribers receive in their e-mails?

    No, a View just means that someone viewed something. If I viewed 5 posts on your blog, that would be 5 views.

    The unique visitors are listed as Visitors in your stats, but we only track uniqueness on a 24-hour basis since it’s nearly impossible to say for sure who’s a unique person anywhere beyond that with all of the daily variables online.
