What happened to $26?

  I am looking to get my old domain name back however it is trying to charge me $96 for a year. Why is it no longer $26?

  Hi there,

  We stopped selling domains as stand-alone upgrades in 2016. Owners of existing domains can continue renewing them at the original price, but if you cancel or let your domain expire, a paid plan is required in order to register that domain again.

  I see you let thedaintey.com expire in 2019, and you don’t own any other domain upgrades with us, so the only way to register that domain with us again is by upgrading to one of our plans. However, you can use the cheaper Personal Plan for this as well.
