What happens to my domain if I move hosting away from wordpress.com?

  Hi. I’ve just pointed the domain names we bought at non-wordpress hosting so that we can customise the site, add plugins etc. If I cancel our account will the domain be cancelled also? What’s the best way forward? Thanks in advance for your help.

  Domain registration is separate from webhosting at all (or at least all reputable) webhosts. So canceling hosting, be that with us or another webhost, should not affect your domain name registration.
