What have I done??

    I need to combine my two word press blogs. I mistakenly made two blogs and would like to combine momsmadhouse.wordpress.com and joysofparenthood.wordpress.com I want only the momsmadhouse blog.

    Export from the one you want to stop using – import into the one you want to use – remember to check the box to move media (pictures) – once you have confirmed that all the info has moved – you can set the Posts and such on the old blog to Private or delete them – don’t delete the old blog – make a new Post with a “I have moved” that has a link to the new blog – also ask any followers to move and subscribe to the new blog – make the Post Sticky

    Don’t delete the old blog as that will have all your old visitors run into a blank wall – much better to leave the old blog so it can refer visitors to your new place

    You can also make a couple of new Posts on the old blog with just a note – “see my latest Post at my new blog” so it will go to your old blog subscribers
