  I am creating a website that will need to have capacity for a couple thousand photos, with commentary, some voice recordings and potentially some video. What kind of hosting will I need to accommodate this?

  All WordPress.com sites come with 3GB free media storage. If you’re smart about optimising your images for the web before you upload them, you’ll be able to add several thousand images before you’ll run out of the free storage space.
