what is a "reserved" site?

  Hi, I’d like to register the blog babyhacker.wordpress.com, but it says “that site is reserved”.
  Is that different from “this site already exists”? Is there a way to register babyhacker.wordpress.com for myself?

  That name is reserved for another user.

  You can register an available address at:
  http://wordpress.com/signup/

  Keep in mind that you could always map a custom domain (example.com) to your blog:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/
