What is allowed on an adult website on WordPress.com

    I have 2 questions concerning https://en.support.wordpress.com/mature-content/ .

    1.
    You write:
    ‘We do permit [—] images [—] that contain nudity.’
    ‘Please don’t [p]ost visual depictions of sexually explicit acts (such as [—] drawings) that can be considered pornographic.’

    If you ask me, any display of nudity CAN be considered pornographic by someone. Therefore, I am confused as to what is exactly meant by those rules.

    Is it allowed to post video game screenshots containing copulation between adult characters (no blood, no bondage)?

    2.
    ‘Please don’t [p]ost [—] text, or images promoting or advertising escort or erotic services;’

    Is is allowed to post text commenting favorably on prostitution situations in a video game, and screenshots of brothel interiors, prostitutes, and activities with fictious prostitutes in a video game (all fictious, unrelated to any real-world service or establishment)?

    I am most disappointed by the impossibility to correct typos in my post above. I have been searching for the way to edit my post, and I’ve seen several pages with the information that posts CAN be edited within 60 minutes from publishing, but there is no information on HOW to do it. For the life of me, I can’t figure out where do I have to click in order to edit my post, which I am supposed to be allowed to do.

    Hi there,

    We do not allow adult websites on WordPress.com. There’s a difference between adult content and content for mature audiences. If you think the content you want to add could be considered “adult”, please look for a different hosting provider instead.

    I cannot go into more detail than is already contained in the Mature Content support page. Interpretation of those guidelines is at the discretion of our terms of service team, and handled on a case by case basis.

    Nowhere in the WordPress.com support pages or on this forum does it say that, and it has never been possible to edit posts in the WordPress.com forums after the fact.
