what is the difference between a post, media and article?

    My professor and I are working on a wordpress site together and we want to change our theme but we do not want to lose the article option. What is the difference between a post, media and article and how can I search for themes that support articles?

    Post: a unit of text or media in the context of a web post, in the larger framework of a blog.

    Media: video, images, or other uploads like downloadable PDFs.

    Article: a post made of text.
