What is the difference between Domaine R

    What is the difference between Domaine Registration, and Private Registration? They both have the same web address?

    Hi there,

    When you register a domain your domain provider is required by ICANN, the organisation that regulates all domains on the web, to get detailed contact information from you. That information is submitted to the registry that controls the particular domain, and is listed on the public Whois database.

    If you enable private registration, which is included with the domain in all our plans, we submit our contact information instead, meaning your private contact details don’t get listed on a public database.

    Register a New Domain

    Note that for some types of domains privacy is not available under certain circumstances.
