What size does my avatar need to be

  My photo isn’t uploading. I’ve tried to reduce the file size. What is the necessary file size? I’ve tried over 1000 x 1000 pixels and 500 x 500 pixels. Neither size works. Explain what I need to do.

  Hi there!

  Both of those sizes should work. Can you tell me the file size of the photo you’re uploading? Also, do you see any error messages? What does it say?

  Could you also try clearing your browser cache and see if that helps? Here’s how to clear your browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

  You can try logging in on a different browser and try uploading your profile picture there to see how it goes.
