Hi there! We have purchased our domain from go daddy, as themusesagency.co.uk. We wanted to transfer our domain and hosting to WordPress as website builder tools are cooler and more professional. However, we could not transfer a .uk account. And in this case, we needed to map. BUT my question is, normally with the hosting there no such thing as mapping, but in this case, we need to pay separately the hosting, business account, and mapping subscription separately?? I am very much confused at this moment and don’t know what to do. We also need email accounts too, I have researched the whole web, but the more I look to more I got confused. Please help me!

I think it will help to clarify that GoDaddy also offers WordPress sites, so we are not the only source in this case. However the primary difference is that GoDaddy and other hosts use a different version of the WordPress platform from what we use on WordPress.com. They use the free open source WordPress application, which is a tool you can use to add website management to any host. It’s a little on the advanced DIY side, and is usually the choice of designers, web developers, and advanced website users.
