What to do with my current domain?

    I am not sure whether mapping or moving the domain over to WordPress is the best option for my website. I need advice

    Hi there,

    This is really up to you.

    If you map the domain to us, the registration will still be with the other provider, so you’ll have to pay them for the domain’s renewal each year, and us for the plan connecting the domain to your site.

    If you transfer it to us, you’ll be able to manage your domain and site in the same place, and you’ll only need to remember to pay one service provider each year. Upon transferring the domain to us it is also renewed for another year.

    Personally I think having your domain and website with the same provider is the simpler option, and often cheaper in the long run, but many people also prefer to keep them separate.
