What Username to Use to Log In to Jetpack?

    I have:

    1) Self-hosted WP (username 1, mail 1)
    – Jetpack installed & connected to WP.com account2
    2) WP.com account1 (username 2, mail 2)
    – 4 WP.com blogs
    3) WP.com account2 (username 3, mail 3)
    – Linked Self-hosted WP

When I login to Jetpack Android App with 1) it says that I need to install Jetpack. Is this because Jetpack is connected to 3)?

My idea is to have all of my WP.com blogs on account1 and self-hosted WPs linked on account2.

Is it possible to add both My Blogs and Linked Blogs to the same app or not since they are separate accounts plus only one of them is connected to the Jetpack? I’m basically asking can I login with 2 separate WP.com accounts to Jetpack at the same time?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

    Hey there,

Happy to help you with this.

Is it possible to add both My Blogs and Linked Blogs to the same app or not since they are separate accounts plus only one of them is connected to the Jetpack? I’m basically asking can I login with 2 separate WP.com accounts to Jetpack at the same time?

It’s not possible to be logged into multiple accounts on the Jetpack back, so in order to manage these in one place, the sites themselves would need to be managed by that one account.

Are you able to add more context on the following set up? We can perhaps make suggestions on how best to manage that:

    1) Self-hosted WP (username 1, mail 1)
    – Jetpack installed & connected to WP.com account2
    2) WP.com account1 (username 2, mail 2)
    – 4 WP.com blogs
    3) WP.com account2 (username 3, mail 3)
    – Linked Self-hosted WP

    Thank you!

As far as the setup, I will simplify my question:
In order to get my self-hosted site to the Jetpack mobile app, what account should I use to log in to the app?

Is it the one registered on WordPress.com that the Jetpack is connected to inside my self-hosted WP site?

This confuses me because there is an option to log in with a WordPress.com account or my existing site. When I log in with a WordPress.com account that is linked to my site it works fine but when I log in with my site user I don’t see all the options for editing and it asks me to install the Jetpack plugin, which is already installed and connected with the account on WordPress.com

    I hope this makes sense.

    Hey there,

In order to get my self-hosted site to the Jetpack mobile app, what account should I use to log in to the app?

Is it the one registered on WordPress.com that the Jetpack is connected to inside my self-hosted WP site?

So you’d be using the account that is logged into the Jetpack on the mobile – so would that be (username 1, mail 1) based on the above?

This confuses me because there is an option to log in with a WordPress.com account or my existing site. When I log in with a WordPress.com account that is linked to my site it works fine but when I log in with my site user I don’t see all the options for editing and it asks me to install the Jetpack plugin, which is already installed and connected with the account on WordPress.com

So what are you logging into exactly? (for example 1, 2 or 3?)

I sounds like you could consolidate these into one account perhaps?
