When Asian language fonts will be supported?
-
I am trying to set up my blog in Traditional Chinese, but there is no any Asian language fonts in ‘Customize’, not even in paid plans. The Typekit already supports Asian languages for a while now, it is too bad that WordPress.com no longer support connecting an outside Typekit.com account. Will Asian language fonts be added to WordPress.com in the near future? If so, when? Thanks for the answer.

There are two places that you can determine the language of your site. One is in your settings for Interface/backend of the site, and the language your site is written in and what the public sees. To the best of my knowledge Traditional Chinese is supported.
To change the language at the backend (interface), that can be changed here https://wordpress.com/me/account and use the drop down to select the language you wish.
To change the language your site is written in go to https://wordpress.com/settings/general/ for your site and change the Language dropdown to the language you wish.
If you are referring to Traditional Chinese Custom Fonts, I’m sorry but I do not know and suspect it is not currently possible. If you wish to receive a Staff reply, please return here and add the MODLOOK tag to the Tags section of the forum thread sidebar for their attention.

Thanks justjennifer for your reply. I am indeed asking about Custom Fonts, not just the language of the site or the interface of the backend. That’s why I mentioned Typekit.com. Thanks.

I do not know of any current plans to add Chinese custom fonts.
I will pass the suggestion along though as I can see how it would be useful.
