When can I expect a reply to questions I have logged?

I have been waiting for almost a week for a reply to questions I have logged. When will I get a reply? I am extremely un-impressed with the support provided.

I have sent my questions to help@wordpress.com and via http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?ref=newdash-help, which are what wordpress has previously advised me to do. But I have received no replies from them. Is this normal? How long does one usually have to wait for a reply from them?

There are millions of bloggers here and only slightly over 220 Staff members. Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in order of datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.
How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Don’t bump your thread because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Don’t create a new thread or send another email for support either.
When bloggers keep bumping any thread thinking they are going to get service from Staff more quickly they aren’t thinking straight because that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response. The same is true if you email more than once the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help.
Bottom line: Patience is virtue.

There is as far as I know nobody answering emails at help@wordpress.com. There is somebody answering at (email visible only to moderators and staff) but the backlog is in the weeks now. Asking a question here gets a response in less than five minutes usually. I suggest you ask your question. And not “why isn’t anyone answering my question” either.
