When I click on my sites admin dashboard I get an error
-
When I click on my sites admin dashboard I get an error. ‘There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’ When I check my email I have no message telling me what the issue is. When I go to WordPress and try to access my site it says ‘Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection
wp-admin’. Note: all this happened after I updated some of my plugins. -
Hi there,
If this for https://westcoastracingclassifieds.com/?
The error you see is what happens if a problem with a theme or plugin on your site has caused a critical error.
You can find the documentation for this error in the open source version of WordPress you’re using on that site here:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/common-wordpress-errors/
For more help with this, please ask the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/, or contact your hosting provider directly.
The Jetpack error on our end is because Jetpack is having trouble communicating with your site:
This could be related to whatever is causing the critical error in your dashboard (and you’ll need dashboard access to attempt a reconnection anyway), so first get that fixed. If you still see a Jetpack error even after regaining access to the dashboard and reconnecting Jetpack, please contact Jetpack support directly at https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support
