When I download almost any plug-in, the whole admin pages crash (white screen)

  Hello, I need some help! I am using Genesis theme with Foodie child theme and recently if I try to download almost any plug-in, the whole admin pages crash (but not the front-end what viewers see) and so I go into the FTP and delete that plug-in and it works great! The only thing I have messed with is the css file so I don’t know if it’s something I’ve added or not. Maybe a buggy plug-in I’m using, I’m not sure. Some plug-ins download just fine however. I would love help to figure this out.
