When I post something in conversations, then I get message that my post is under moderation. and a bit later it has disappeared. Why is that happening?

Can you please explain to me why my comments are under moderation and then disappear in the ether? I am not given to rude language, nor racism nor rudeness. So I cannot quite comprehend what is going on.
