When I reply to a comment, it only shows up on the blog post and the person who made the comment doe

  I was hoping there was an easy way to reply to a comment and have it both show up on the blog and be delivered to the commenter’s email directly. I suppose I could copy the commenter’s email address and send the reply to both the blog and via email, but I’m assuming there’s a way to avoid doing this that I’m not seeing. I feel terrible that I thought I was responding to comments and it was only showing up on the post.

  I’m afraid that is not something that you, as the blog owner, can force to happen automatically. Users need to have chosen to follow the comments on a particular post in order to get an email notification of additional replies.
