when i scale my header images i cannot save them, why?

    Hi, some of my rotating header images are too short, so I’m trying to scale them. They’re at 770×200, so i’m trying to change them to 990×257. every time i click on “scale” it refuses to save the image. “unable to save image” i’ve tried this on several images and the same thing keeps happening. i’ve tried different sizes, even just 769, which should be easy to do, same problem. ive updated my browser to firefox 9, cleared cache and cookies, signed out, restarted computer, nothing works. help.!

    The images can’t really be scaled up, but you could do that with an image editor application, then just upload the final product.
