When on dashboard, browser shows yellow warning for unsecure connection.

My setting uses https when in admin-dashboard. But recently, how come instead of green lock, it is showing yellow warning for unsecure connection? Please advise. Thanks.

If you click on the warning it should provide you with a reason why the browser doesn’t like the secure connection. The security certificate used for WordPress.com sites is for the domain WordPress.com and *.WordPress.com. If you access your admin via your registered livechristinmary.org domain then it can complain that the certificate isn’t valid, because the domain doesn’t match the certificate.

Hello!
Couple questions:
1. What is the browser you are using? Is it up to date?
see here: http://whatbrowser.org/
If not up to date go to: http://www.browsehappy.com
2. Have you tried accessing the site with or without the https://?
For example, do you get the same message if you go to
https://www.livechristinmary.org vs
http://www.livechristinmary.orgThe difference being one is a secure-connection (the one with the “s”) and one is not.
See here http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/Couple solutions to try
1. Try a different browser.
2. Try a different browser with or without the https turned on
For example, Google Chrome seems to use https as a default. If you use Chrome try turning it off
3. Try manually typing in and exploring to see if https:// vs. http://
results in your error
4. Check whether your https:// is turned on or off and see if making a switch results in your error.
