when will my site be official?

    Hi! I created a site for my business on Sunday, but I can’t find it yet using google or by typing the address. Have I forgot to do something or is it normal for it to take time? I would need it to word no later than tomorrow, because a business partner demands a working site address by then.

    Hi there,

    What is your site’s address? Your account does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

    It takes up to eight weeks for new sites to be indexed by search engines, and then only if they regularly publish new content for the search engines to index.

    But in addition to that your site must also be set up correctly. For WordPress.com sites this is done automatically, but if you’re using the open source WordPress software you might need to use a plugin like Jetpack or Yoast to ensure your site is properly configured for SEO.
